Mácha Lake boasts its own boat transport, which has a tradition since 1920. The lake is braked by several ships that carry nice names, such as Jarmila, Máj, Hynek or Seagul. At this lake he liked to spend time Karel Hynek Mácha, and from there originally received the great pond its name.
If you want to explore the best of Mácha Lake, the cruise boat is a great choice. Cruises are held in July and August, or at other times for ordering and special occasions. Boats from the dock in Doksy or Staré Splavy are issued on the cruise.
A cruise through Mácha Lake can be also a historical and geographic interpretation if desired. In addition to cruises, there is a regular boat service in summer.
